The Jaguar Mark II remains the definite four-door sports saloon of the early 1960s, capable of carrying a full complement of passengers and their luggage in comfort with the performance associated with sports cars built only a few years earlier.
The Mark II models featured significant improvements over their predecessors. Apart from their larger glasshouse, the interior was substantially redesigned and an adjustable steering column was fitted.
