Zundapp was once one of Europe's largest motorcycle manufacturers. Its flat-fours of the 1930s were very successful. The big, shaft-driven K800 was introduced in 1933. It featured interchangeable front and rear wheels and linked brakes. Zundapp thrived until the 1980s when sales fell dramatically. The firm was sold to China in 1986.
