The Saracen series was a group of armoured vehicles produced by Alvis for the British Army. The FV 603 was the firm's designated Armoured Personnel Carrier with an ability to haul eight troops quickly across terrain. It was powered by a Straight-Eight Petrol motor by Rolls Royce which distributed its 160hp through all six wheels. They could be ordered with a variety of options, though most came with a roof-mounted turret that was setup with a machine gun. Initially introduced for the British Army's use in 1954, many Commonwealth Countries used these carriers throughout the sixties and beyond.
