By 1920 Harley-Davidson was the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. 1922 saw the introduction of the legendary 74ci (1200) Harley V-Twin in the FD and JD models, the JD also being introduced in 1920. These 'Seventy-Four' bikes are still revered today as the motor that brought Harley-Davidson its true 'big-banger' reputation.
