Introduced in 1968 the six-cylinder W114 model range succeeded the W110 as Mercedes-Benz's executive sedan. Styled by the famous Paul Bracq, it sat on a newly engineered chassis- the first post-war Mercedes to do so.
Powered by 2.3, 2.5 and 2.8-litre 'sixes', the W114 models were easy to identify, with models corresponding to capacity- 230, 250 and 280.
Noted for their sophistication in-period, today these Mercedes are well-respected for their sturdy build quality and many are used as cheap-entry, daily-driving classics.
