Description
The Chrysler CM was a revised version of the CL model which it replaced and was released from 1977 to 1981,the CM was available in 5 models, the Chrysler Regal SE being at the top of the tree. This was to be the last Australian Chrysler Valiant model produced and the Regal models were marketed As Chrysler Regal SE deleting the Valiant name. Engine options of the day were 245 ci and 265 ci six cylinders or a 318 5.2liter V8.A GLX pack was also released as a sports sedan as a replacement for the discontinued Charger and earlier Pacer models Option code A16 comprising of a 265 cubic inch (4.3 litre)six cylinder engine running through a 4-speed manual transmission, riding on "Hot Wire" alloy wheels, the GLX also received interior and other out side embellishments. With production of the CM ending in August of 1981 just over 16,000 units were produced.
