The Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe were manufactured between 1933 and 1942 as the more up-market models in the range at the time. Based on its 1938 predecessor, the Australian-made 1939 Chevrolet Master got a new refreshed front clip sourced from Canada (as were the mechanicals), while the rest was made locally. The range available was Sedans, Coupes and Roadsters in the Master 85 (I beam front axle) and Sedan and Coupe in Master Deluxe (independent front suspension and upgraded interior). The Sloper model description is a unique name given to the Australian-bodied Coupe built by GM and Ford of the mid to late 30's.
Chevrolets were built in Australia from 1926-68.
