Description
Used by Michael Schumacher in the 2006 Formula One season, this 6-point Scuderia Ferrari seat belt has been signed twice by the multiple World Champion driver, along with “2006” to denote the season in which the belt was used. Manufactured by Sebelt, the seat belt also features the marking “M.S. 06” on the reverse side, adding to the provenance, as does the Certificate supplied direct from Scuderia Ferrari – these were rarely issued and never for the general public, only for corporate sponsorship gifts. Signed by Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicalli on March 28, 2010 in Maranello, the Certificate includes his electronic signature. The 2006 season was the German star’s final year with Scuderia Ferrari, scoring seven Grand Prix wins but was narrowly beaten to the Driver’s Championship by arch rival Fernando Alonso.
