1978 Yamaha XS650 Storm 'Phil Little' Special Edition

Phil Little conceived his nifty Storm conversion kit as a way to endow the Yamaha 650 with style reminiscent of the highly coveted Triumph Hurricane, albeit without that trademark triple-cylinder engine and triple pipes. Nevertheless, the twin chromed pipes on this machine still look very cool! The kit comprised a new three-gallon tank (moulded from anti-ethanol resin) and tail section in orange, black or white, lowered bars, fork brace, retro-look shock absorbers, and a restyled seat. The tank and seat present visually as the one shapely piece.
