Probably no brand of motorcycle can match the allure and immense sporting appeal of Ducati: Ducati is to two wheels what Ferrari is to four!  Even before 1972, the marque represented sporting flair and superb engineering, but this was the first year of the Super Sport, which rode Ducati to the pointy end of the performance bike pack. The 900SS has long been seen as one of the marque’s all-time greats. The Super Sport became the SuperSport for the 1990s and Brembo brakes were made standard equipment for model year 1991.
