Description
1989 Caltex racing jacket that the late Bradley Radcliffe had signed (still new) at Winton in 1991.
Kruze for kids was the brain child of The Late Beadley Radclyffe. For quite a number of years Bradley had always talked about wanting to organise an event to raise fund for the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal.
The Royal Children’s Hospital is a cause that was close to Bradley’s heart. As a 7 year old, Brad was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and spent quite a considerable amount of his younger childhood years as a patient, including nearly losing his life a couple of times. He had learnt first hand of the incredible work that they do. In his time there he also saw many other children with all sorts of different illnesses and injuries, and felt that by raising funds and donating it to the Hospital, you are providing help to all the children and not just one specific group. If all donations raised can go to new research and equipment that may make a child’d life easier, than that is the best possible outcome.
Over the years, Bradley had suffered from his own health complications and with some hope the Royal Children’s Hospital can provide excellent standards of care and be up to date with new technologies and treatments for all children at an early age, then hopefully not only will their quality of life improve as they grow but complications later in life won’t have such a dramatic impact.
Bradly sadly and unexpectedly passed away of 18th January 2020. His legacy will live on through all the team at Kruze 4 Kids.
