The Yamaha DT360 is a single-cylinder 360cc dual-purpose street and trail motorcycle sold under the Enduro-model family in 1974. This was the sole year the model was offered and was also the last year Yamaha produced its 351cc single-cylinder engine. The DT360’s kerb weight of about 300 pounds. and its peak power of 33 brake horsepower at 6000rpm enabled it to cruise comfortably at 105km/h and achieve a maximum speed of 132. Motorbiscuit rates it as one of the five best trail bikes ever and says: ‘The YZ360 is one of the most powerful dirt bikes ever made, with a 360cc engine. It was also one of the very few ‘work’ bikes built during its time, which meant that it was made specifically for racing. Despite its light structure, it was known for being able to hold up under a lot of abuse on the track. It was also the first dirt bike to use a mono-shock suspension system, which gave drivers more stability.
